Who we are

NightShift is operated by Capers. When we say "we," "us," or "NightShift," we mean Capers and its NightShift service.

What we collect

We collect the following information when you use NightShift:

• Name and email address — so we know who you are and where to send your deliverables.
• Task descriptions and industry — so we can complete your work.
• IP address — collected automatically for security and analytics.

Why we collect it

• To deliver the tasks you submit.
• To send you confirmation and delivery emails.
• To improve NightShift and fix issues.

Email

We use Resend to send transactional emails — things like task confirmations and deliveries. We do not send marketing emails without your consent. You will never get spam from us.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. We may use Vercel Analytics for basic, privacy-friendly usage data. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third parties:

• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing (coming soon).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone.

Data retention

We keep your task submissions for the duration of service delivery plus 90 days. After that, they are deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, we believe you should have control over your data. You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your data at any time.
• Opt out of any non-essential data collection.

These rights apply whether you are covered by the GDPR, CCPA, or neither. Just email us and we will take care of it.
